“When the fundamental nature of things is not recognized, the mind’s essential peace is disturbed to no avail. The Way is perfect, as vast space is perfect, where nothing is lacking, and nothing is in excess.”

Ordinary Zen Sangha Summer Schedule
Saturdays: As summer is officially here, so is the South Florida Heat and Humidity. We tend to avoid the heat and keep our outdoor activities to early morning and evening. One activity that I enjoy in the summertime is sitting on Siesta Beach on Saturday mornings at 6:30 am (Directions: We will meet Northeast of the last lifeguard (blue) tower, the furthest north of the pavilion. Park in the North lot). You may also wish to join me at Mojo Risin’ Coffee afterwards for coffee and conversation.
Special Morning Meditation Session – Saturday June 13, 2026, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.
Join us in person at our Zendo or on Zoom for several sitting and walking meditations, with a break every hour. Tea will be served. Bring your own cushion or use ours. RSVP Here!
Wednesdays and Sundays: We continue with our Wednesday Evening Practice sessions and Sunday Morning sessions at our Fruitville Road location and on Zoom.
We practice what is called Chan (Chinese), Zen (Japanese), or Seon (Korean). Our practice has at its root the guiding wisdom of Buddha’s Enlightenment. For over 2500 years meditation has continued from generation to generation. We return to that same seated meditation over and over again. Through our practice we become more productive, clear, compassionate beings, living life fully, no matter what circumstances we find ourselves in. This, in turn, helps us personally, as well as countless others.
All the best,
Will (Hae An) Rauschenberger
