Dear reader,

Yesterday at our Dharma talk, I suggested a potluck Dinner at my home for next Saturday after Thanksgiving. After sleeping on it, or lack of sleep, I just couldn't settle on it being 'Right Action' and was conflicted about it for a number of reasons. Then, in the middle of the night, I had a realization about what I needed to change. I hope you will be receptive to my changing the program. :)

I would like to have this get-together be for a select group of regular, committed, Sangha members. A way for us to share a meal and have conversations that are not constrained within a Dharma Talk setting. We have made several attempts to go to a restaurant in the area with mixed results, usually loud noisy places and long wait lists.

Here is what I am getting at. Our house is five minutes from the Sangha and it would be wonderful to have a potluck lunch after our Sunday practice at our house! I would welcome each and every one of you with open arms! It could evolve into a once-a-month thing or not. Our lunch potluck would not be open to anyone who happens to show up for our session, just the select group of Sangha members. We can always add people once they have shown that they are sincere about practicing with OZS. No hard and fast rules, nonetheless, this approach will be a way to be supportive of our Sangha.

So in closing, I would like to invite you all to join me this coming Sunday after our regular practice session at my home for a potluck lunch.

Please reply and let me know you are coming so we can plan accordingly.

Deep Bow,
Will
