Wednesday's practice schedule has changed!
|
What and When: The doors open at 6:30 pm and the practice session begins promptly at 7:00 pm with the chanting of the Heart Sutra. We then sit in meditation (zazen) for twenty-five minutes, do walking meditation for five minutes, and another twenty-five minutes of sitting. After the last sitting, we serve tea, have a brief Dharma talk and discussion related to our practice. We usually finish up by 8:30 pm.

The Great Dharani Chant is a chant that we chanted while Chong An Sunim was here and I found a version on YouTube (with lyrics) that is helpful for following along and learning the chant. I posted the video on our website for anyone interested in including the chant in their practice: https://ordinaryzensangha.org/the-great-dharani-with-lyrics/.

May they awaken from the dream.
|
May delusions fall away and clinging cease.

Ignorance, greed, and anger have no hold on the awakened heart.
