Sangha Business Meeting

Sunday, September 9 at 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

This coming Sunday, after our Sunday Evening Meditation, we will have our first Sangha Business Meeting.

Proposed Agenda:
  • Plans for the upcoming Weekend Workshop
  • Volunteers needed for various tasks (potluck setup, cleanup, etc.)
  • Promotional material (creation and distribution)
  • General Zendo policies and procedures
When I say, “I take refuge in the sangha,” it does not mean that I want to express my devotion. No. It’s not a question of devotion; it’s a question of practice.
To practice right mindfulness we need the right environment, and that environment is our sangha.

May all beings be happy.
May they awaken from the dream.
May delusions fall away and clinging cease.
Ignorance, greed, and anger have no hold on the awakened heart.
